From the UK we suggest you choose a direct flights from Heathrow to Boston, there are regional airports offering flights the compromise being you would be required to change planes en route. This is a superb 11 night / 12 day holiday combining 3 iconic cities on the east coast of America.

We recommend you fly into Boston and make your way south, first stopping in New York before making your way down the down to Washington, you'll find the coast line is pretty if you choose to travel by train. If you have the time and Philadelphia is an ideal stop over between New York and Washington.

Days 1 to 4 Boston

Start your America multi centre holiday by departing the UK on your chosen scheduled flight to Boston. Upon arrival take a taxi, or we’ll arrange a transfer, to your preferred hotel where you will spend the first 4 nights of your exciting holiday. The charismatic city of Boston is rich in history and culture; many of its attractions are linked by the Freedom Trail which is followed by thousands of visitors each year. Whilst in Boston make sure that you take time to explore the markets, designer boutiques and bustling harbour front, whilst there are lots of areas in Boston we recommend The Boston Bay Bay area as a base.

Days 5 to 8 New York    

Direct flight Boston to new York takes 1 hour 31 minutes or 4 hours 13 minutes by train

Today you have the option of flying, or taking a relaxing rail journey south following the scenic east coast to your next destination” New York, New York” so good they named it twice.

New York is one of the most exciting and cosmopolitan cities in the world. It is often called the city that never sleeps; in fact, Times Square at midnight seems more vibrant and active than most other cities at noon. New York has many tourist attractions like the Statue of Liberty, the United Nations headquarters, the Empire State building and over 300 museums. It is renowned for its wide variety of entertainments including the world famous Broadway theatres.

Days 9 to 11 Washington

Direct flight New York to Washington 1 hour 13 minutes or by train 3 hours 20 minutes

Again you have the option of flying or taking a scenic Amtrak rail journey south down to the Nation’s Capital and one of the most famous cities in the world – Washington DC. There are many significant landmarks to visit in Washington including The White House, Jefferson Memorial and Washington monuments plus a multitude of museums and galleries.
