Days 1 & 2 – Denver
Depart the UK on your chosen scheduled flight to Denver. Upon arrival collect your rental car and proceed to your chosen hotel. After a good night’s rest, explore the Mile High City so called for its sky scrapers, you may choose to take a tour of the US mint, take a carriage ride through Larimar Square or visit the famous zoo or experience the wide range of shopping options. Estes Park is only 60 miles away and offers some of the most spectacular Colorado scenery you will find.
Days 3, 4 & 5 – Beaver Creek Rocky Mountains
Driving distance 107 miles approximately 2 hours
Today you head directly into the heart of the Colorado Rockies and from your base in Beaver Creek there are endless outdoor activities available to you. During the winter months activities such as skiing and snowboarding and during the summer follow a trail into the mountains, go hiking, hire mountain bikes, or go white water rafting or zip wiring, relax by the pool or enjoy a round of golf. The resort of Vail is only 10 miles away and Breckenridge only a little further for day trips.
Days 6 & 7 – Aspen
Driving distance 100 miles approximately 2 hours
From Beaver Creek continue west on Interstate 70 to Glenwood and then south to the chic town of Apen. Enjoy the mountain lifestyle with its sporting activities or relax in the fresh mountain air, keeping an eye out for celebrities
Days 8, 9 & 10 – Colorado Springs
Driving distance 156 miles approximately 3 hours
Today’s journey will weave through the Rockies, along independence pass and alongside of mount Elbut Colorado’s highest point to Colorado Springs. A recreational delight and an ideal location to explore the surrounding mountain
Day 11 – Denver to UK
Driving distance 70 miles approximately 1 hour 15minutes
From Colorado Springs drive directly back up to Denver, returning your hire can and flying back to the UK back to the UK
