  • Return flights with Monarch Airways direct from Gatwick To Tenerife
  • Return private transfers from Tenerife airport to the Grand El Mirador
  • 5 nights accommodation at The Colony Club  Barbados over Christmas

This holiday was enjoyed by a family  of 9 people who wanted 5 nights away in Canary Islands over Christmas.   The requirements were direct flights from London,  a luxury hotel or resort in a nice area perhaps near a village or town that was lively enough to entertain the young adults in the party and relaxed enough to be enjoyed by the parents and grandparents in the party.  

The daily direct flights operated by Monarch Airlines coupled with the warm and dry climate from November to March and choice on 5* resorts made Tenerife a good destination. The Grand El Mirador ticked all the other boxes.  Located in Costa Adeje across from Playa del Duque and moments walk into the town, the Grand El Mirador is designed for adults only set with in beautifully manicured gardens, a large swimming pool and terrace, spa, selection of restaurants and variety of spacious suites with a variety of views to suit every pocket.

Full Itinerary 

 

Day 1  Fly to Tenerife.  

Check in for your flights to Tenerife with Monarch Airlines at Gatwick south  terminal, ideally 2 hours prior to departure. The flight from Gatwick to Tenerife  departs at 13:30 arriving into Barbados local time at 17:55. You will be greeted on arrival and handed cool bottles before being ushered to an air conditioned vehicle for your 20 minutes transfer to The Grand El Mirador Hotel where you will be spending the next 5 days.

Day 6 

On your last day in Tenerife you will be collected from The Grand El Mirador at approximately  1615 hour and privately transferred back to Tenerife South airport for a 1655 hours check in . You return flight departs from Barbados at 1855 hrs flying non stop and landing back in London Gatwick at 2255 hrs
