This holiday was enjoyed by a family who wanted a week in the Caribbean over the February half term.   The requirements were direct flights from London,  not too far from the airport with the options to play golf, do some sailing and enjoy the water sports and importantly a hotel that wasn't too big that would be suitable for a family with two teenage daughters.  

The daily direct flights operated by British Airways coupled with the warm and dry climate from November to March made Barbados a good destination. The Colony Club ticked all the other boxes.  Located on the west coast of Barbados just 45 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Bridgetown and  located on a lovely soft sandy beach this 96 roomed hotel set in 7 acres of tropical gardens gives the impression of space whilst delivering friendly and efficient service  

Having researched which of our preferred ATOL bonded tour operators offered the clients the best deal we secured the holiday and to ensure the client experienced the best the hotel could offer ensured our contact at the hotel secured two adjacent ocean view rooms for the family.

This family flew with British Airways  in premium economy and back in business class, chose 2 ocean view rooms on a bed and breakfast at The Colony Club over the February half term, booking a month  prior to departure and paid  £4750 per person.  Holiday costs differ on when & how you  travel

Full Itinerary 

Day 1  Fly to Barbados Check in for your flights to Barbados with British Airways at Gatwick north terminal, ideally 3 hours prior to departure. The flight from Gatwick to Barbados departs at 10:30 am arriving into Barbados local time at 3:30 pm. You will be greeted on arrival and handed cool bottles before being ushered to an air conditioned vehicle for your 45 minutes transfer to The Colony Club where you will be spending the next 7 days.

Day 8  On your last day in Barbados you will be collected from The Colony Club at approximately  1:00 pm and privately transferred back to Barbados airport for a 2:30 om check in . You return flight departs from Barbados at 5:15 pm flying through the night and landing back in London Gatwick the following morning.
